Recipe of A Healthy Mind

No, the blog will not only focus on enlisting some food that can positively affect your mind. There are many other things I wish to share with the readers for protecting and promoting their mental health.

Our mind is the master and should behave like the one to exercise a better control on our overall system. An unhealthy mind acts like a villain and tortures the body to a pity state.

A peaceful mind is a blessing one needs

Let us get a quick glimpse of how we can at least make an attempt to make our mind mind its own business efficiently.

Learn to relax

An empty mind may be a devil’s workshop but a tired mind will be a crooked friend. Do you want a friend who is hostile to your happiness?

Learn to relax therefore. Let your mind take rest, revitalize and get ready for a busy schedule ahead.

You must have seen people relaxing by scanning through the messages and comments on their mobile phone. Well, it is a big NO!

This kind of personalized relaxation your mind does not need. Keep aside your laptop/mobile (Yes, even your headset please!), close your eyes and do nothing for as long as you can. 10 minutes will be enough.

Meditate

You need not to get alert on listening to this! You don’t require meditating strictly or deeply as our monks do.

Close your eyes, sit straight and do nothing. Just sit straight and close your eyes, focusing your mind on any illusionary image you wish. Suppose you are imagining a flower or a circle of light and you think of that only. 5 minutes will be more than enough for you.

You can chant some mantras to discipline your focus if imagining something seems a challenge.

Do not dehydrate your skull longer

Okay, okay I understand standing straight under the shower everyday for busy people is difficult. Soaked hair tied tightly also causes stinking.

After returning home, don’t make excuses. Let running water shower some love to your dry skull. It relaxes the mind and the whole body

Not putting water on head is a bad decision and it causes restlessness. The machine installed inside the head needs cooling for functioning properly.

The mind benefits from Oil massage

All those hair serum and gel lovers pay extra attention here. Head massage reduces stress, releases tension and eases headache (even migraine).

Oil massage will promote hair growth (a bonus point!). It’s debatable if oil is a must while massaging. Oil massage, helps penetrating deep inside our pores on head and it feels wonderful.

Oil massage is better than massaging the delicate hair roots using dry fingers. Try it, you know the difference then.

Do not get addicted to your earplugs or headset

Music provides our hungry soul with nutrition but it can disturb the mind as well. Music soothes the mind but not if you keep listening to loud music for hours.

Even soft and melodious music can start adversely affecting the mind if listened to for hours.

In excessive form nothing is good.

Enjoy your ‘me’ time

Everybody needs to schedule and indulge an exclusive ‘me time’. Do whatever you like during this time.

You can sleep also if that’s what makes you feel good. Enjoying a healthy mind is an impossible dream if it’s unhappy and exhausted.

The mind loves making love

Conservatives please don’t raise your eye brows now. As per a reliable report, physical intimacy can release “feel-good hormone” inside the body naturally. Sexual arousal releases a brain chemical or intimacy hormone that promotes sleep and reduces stress (even depression).

Sex (for conservatives let’s say lovemaking) is extremely beneficial for protecting and promoting mental health. Research studies revealed the fact that sexually active people aged between 50 to 90 years enjoy life better as they feel less depressed and lonely.

Do not fret if you don’t have a partner at present. Masturbation can still help considerably! However, don’t get addicted to it. Nothing is good in excessive form.

Try following these recipe on a regular basis for making a healthy version of your mind. Do not expect dramatic improvement over night. Have patience and goodness will follow.

A promise to you, all👍

  1. Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this blog.
It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s hard
to get that “perfect balance” between usability and appearance.
I must say you have done a very good job with this. Also, the blog loads very quick for me on Chrome.
    Superb Blog!
