Mr. Dilish Parekh, from Mumbai, holds the Guinness world record for boasting a collection of 4,425 cameras! 😲

The world’s costliest photograph is Rhein ll framed by Andreas Gursky. $4,338,500 (around $6.84 million value now) was paid for “Rhein II, in 1999. Money luck just clicked💰😎

When astronauts went to the moon, they took multiple Hasselblad cameras with them. Credit goes to them that we can see beautiful images of the moon today. When they brought back moon rocks for scientific study, due to excessive load they left behind the cameras after taking the films. They are still there. Oh, so lonely (read LOVELY) in the company of the moon!

Around 95 million photos are uploaded on Instagram and 300 million on Facebook. So, cheers to photo maniacs! 🥂

In 1861 the very first colour photograph was clicked. Olden days need not be always perceived as black-and-white. 🌈

The first aerial shot was taken in 1858 by the French inventor Gaspard-Félix Tournachon, but the photo no longer exists now. Vanished into the air! 😩

The oldest photo (2 centuries old!) to survive to date is called ‘ view from the window’ taken by Joseph Niepce. 8 hours he invested to get the snapshot. Hats off to his patience🫡🫡
