Turmeric is a blessing to the human world by the universe. Nevertheless, even the finest of the things used inappropriately won’t yield the desired effect.
Many people do not know the correct way of including turmeric in their diet. Also, many of us are not sure whether the packed turmeric powder we are buying to benefit our health and skin is pure or not.

Pure turmeric powder doesn’t dissolve instantly into the solvent you are mixing it. Always remember, that turmeric is Fat-soluble and Never Dissolves Completely in Water.
The finer grainy particles of powdered turmeric will slowly get mixed in the water. The grainy particles will still be visible and collect at the bottom.
One more point, pure turmeric powder hardly leaves a deep orange or reddish yellow kind of pigment. Depending on the quality of the turmeric used to make the Powder, the colour generally is a bit towards the lighter side if used moderately. If you are mixing two teaspoons of turmeric powder into a glass of water to check its purity then how deep the colour will come out I cannot guarantee. Less is more, especially for turmeric!
So, what do we learn from here?
1) Being fat-soluble, turmeric powder will not dissolve instantly into the water or any solvent you are mixing it with.
2) When used moderately the colour is not very deep. A deep Orange or reddish yellow might signal that the turmeric powder is not pure.
How to ensure your body gets to absorb the herb properly?
As I have already mentioned and I believe many of you already are aware of the fact that turmeric is Fat Soluble. So, mixing turmeric in water and having it will not be of much use to you.
Experts suggest that you take turmeric with some healthy fat for better absorption of the herb into your body.
Some of the best ways to include turmeric in your diet include:
1) Mix turmeric into a cup of warm milk and have it.
2) Have your turmeric with olive oil, mustard oil, coconut oil, avocado, or some other kinds of healthy fats.
3) You can grind together all your favourite nuts and seed with one or two inches of raw turmeric root or 1 & 1/2 teaspoons of turmeric powder. Add some ghee (clarified butter) and make some laddu out of it. Have one such laddu every day. Taking your nuts and seeds with turmeric is a great way to multiply their benefits.
4) Add some black pepper to your turmeric mixture to enhance its health benefits by accelerating its absorption power.
5) Add turmeric to your cooking because the properties of this herb enhance upon being exposed to heat.
6) Take turmeric with eggs. Power-pack combination. Sprinkle a little while making omelets or scrambled eggs.
