The fiercest form of Parvati devi or Adishakti, Devi Kaalratri fiercely fights off the demons symbolizing the remover and destroyer of obstacles and evils lurking around in the Universe. She also is the protector of all animals and is seen riding a donkey whom she cares for and sees as equal as any other popular animal.
