2 Homemade Face Serums to Boost Facial Glow

When we sleep every cell throughout our body relaxes and rejuvenates. The basic
beauty treatment you do during your bedtime matters a lot for the health and appearance of your skin.

Face serums are creating a lot of buzz in the beauty world. And, it is for the right reason as well. Face serum can do wonders for our facial skin.

In this blog, I will be mentioning two homemade face serums that you can easily prepare at home. I got to learn about these from Rohit Sachadev who has a YouTube channel of his own, where he gives very useful suggestions on a myriad of beauty concerns. I tried these two face serums with a few personalized touch-ups and found both these quite beneficial.

Face serums are power-packed facial skincare solutions with several active ingredients. We will be adding skin-friendly and readily available all-natural ingredients for preparing our two face serums.

I’m not unnecessarily stretching the length of this blog by explaining the benefits of face serum. You all already know about them and that’s why you have landed on this piece of content, I believe.

So get ready to take your all-natural beauty routine to an epic level by adding either of these homemade face serums.

1) Slimy Rice Water (the one that you get while making rice in water)
2) Glycerine
3) Almond Oil or Vitamin E Oil
4) Aloe vera Gel

  • Take half a cup of slimy fluid that you get while boiling rice in water. Collect the liquid carefully. Let it cool down.
  • Add 1 teaspoon of vegetable glycerine.
  • Add 1/2 teaspoon of Vitamin E oil. You can add almond oil or 1 Vitamin E capsule content in it.
  • Add as much unscented and uncoloured aloe vera gel as is necessary to get a smooth texture. 1 tablespoon should be enough.

Keep it in a small air-tight container (glass would be better) inside the refrigerator. The quantity would be enough for a week.

In 7 days you will experience a positive transformation in your facial skin. It will slowly erase your dark spots and work on improving your uneven skin tone and texture.

Make a fresh batch after a week if you are convinced of its efficacy as your homemade face serum.

1) Beetroot Juice
2) Glycerine
3) Almond Oil or Vitamin E Oil
4) Aloe vera Gel

  • Grate half a beetroot and extract its juice. Collect the juice in a clean container.
  • Add 1 teaspoon of vegetable glycerine.
  • Add 1/2 teaspoon of almond oil or castor oil. If you have cold-pressed coconut oil that will also do.
  • Add as much unscented and uncoloured aloe vera gel as is necessary to get a smooth texture. 1 tablespoon should be enough.

Keep this wonderful pinkish-coloured face serum in a clean container and refrigerator to prolong is shelf life.

Use it for 7 days as it will last for a week. The face serum is excellent for correcting almost all your complexion concerns ( it won’t whiten your skin), adds a healthy glow to your face and smoothens your skin texture and tone.

Follow the ingredients and methods to make it again if you wish to continue the use.

  • Do not use scented and coloured aloe vera gel.
  • Do not contain the face serum in any metallic container.
  • Use vegetable glycerine
  • If you do not have cold-pressed oil, avoid its use. Instead, add vitamin E capsule content or a good brand of vitamin E oil. Always apply face serum after cleaning your face thoroughly. You can check my all-natural easiest homemade facial cleanser.
  • These face serums will moisturize your skin most effectively. Do not apply any extra moisturizer afterward. Use them at your bedtime.
  • Include all essential nutrients in a balanced way in your diet and move your body a little (whatever exercises you like doing) for the best result.

Let us feel grateful that the Universe has made arrangements for us to stay and feel beautiful without having to spend money on exorbitantly priced fancy beauty products.

Our kitchen can be our beauty parlor ( to a certain extent, of course!) if we know what to use and how to use it.
